TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 22, 2016 Concurrent Technologies Corp. has partnered with the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown to provide research opportunities for engineering students at the university, GovCon Executive reported Wednesday.
The company said Tuesday it will also help Pitt-Johnstown develop research concepts, submit proposals for grants and other solicitations, build up core competencies and pursue research funding as part of the academic-industry partnership.
“Our engineers and scientists will collaborate with professors and students from Pitt-Johnstown through research and development projects that can lead to technology-based economic development, ” said Ed Sheehan Jr., president and CEO of CTC.
