ECS Federal has landed a spot on a potential five-year, $200 million contract that covers science and engineering technical assistance for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency‘s strategic technology office.
DARPA selected ECS as one of three awardees that will vie for task orders under the SETA indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity recompete contract, the company said Wednesday.
ECS CEO George Wilson said the award helps reinforce the company’s position as a technical adviser to DARPA and its commitment to provide expertise on defense-related technologies.
The company has supported DARPA for more than 40 years in technology areas such as biometrics, cyber, electronic warfare, maritime, nanotechnology, neuroscience, photonics, radar, robotics and space communications.
ECS will lead a team of specialized technical experts from several small businesses, independent contractors and subcontractors to support DARPA CTO operations.
