Dynetics has landed a potential $470 million sole-source contract to manufacture GBU-69/BSmall Glide Munitions for the U.S. Special Operations Command.
USSOCOM will obligate $10.4 million in fiscal 2016 procurement funds at the time of award, the Defense Departmentsaid Friday.
The company will perform majority of work in Huntsville, Ala., over five ordering periods and could extend performance through fiscal 2030 depending on the timing of the command’s orders.
DoD noted that USSOCOM may issue both firm-fixed-price and cost-plus-fixed-fee orders under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
