TYSONS CORNER, VA, Dec. 5, 2017 Earl Matthews, vice president of DXC Technology‘s (NYSE: DXC) enterprise security solutions group, said a civilian reserve cyber corps will work to help the government and Defense Department address the need for more cyber professionals to defend DoD and critical infrastructure networks, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.
The retired U.S. Air Force major general wrote in a guest article published Friday on Signal Magazine that the government can model the cyber corps after the Civil Reserve Air Fleet, which works to provide support for military airlift operations during emergency situations, in order to utilize cyber talent and resources from the private sector.
