DTRA Issues RFI for Potential $338M Contract for Anti-WMD Support

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency has begun conducting market research for professional analytical services supporting efforts to counter and deter weapons of mass destruction and other emerging threats in the continental and outside the continental United States.

Enhancing Anti-WMD Capabilities

According to the sources sought notice posted on SAM.gov Wednesday, the proposed contract has a potential value of $338.5 million and is intended to support the DTRA Operations Integration Directorate in providing advisory and operations assistance to combatant commands, interagency partners and special operations forces.

Through the potential deal, the selected contractor will provide the DTRA OI Directorate with classified and compartmented support, campaign management, operational and strategic planning, sensitive activity integration, irregular warfare support, WMD defeat advisory services and data-driven decision support. These initiatives will enable the agency to enhance its situational awareness of threat networks and support CCMDs through the integration of analysis, capabilities, technologies and lessons learned to neutralize enemy networks utilizing WMD and other emerging threats.

The agency is seeking contractors specializing in CWMD operations, special access planning, irregular warfare, military deception, information operations, operational data integration and advisory services.

The possible contract will have a one-year base period and four option years. It is expected to be awarded during the third quarter of 2026.

Interested contractors may submit their responses by March 18.
