Dorothy Helfenstein
Dorothy Helfenstein, formerly an executive vice president at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH), has joined Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) as EVP and chief strategic growth officer responsible for executing corporate strategy.
She will report diectly to Nazzic Keene, CEO of SAIC and a 2020 Wash100 Award recipient, and be responsible for driving growth and identifying business opportunities in the U.S. government market, SAIC said Monday.
Helfenstein previously spent more than two decades at Booz Allen, where she also served as senior VP of the company’s strategic innovation group. She also led rapid prototyping operations within the solutions studio segment that supported clients such as the General Services Administration, Internal Revenue Service and the departments of Labor and Agriculture.
Her industry experience also includes time in various specialist and consultant roles such as employee relations specialist at the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority.
Keene said that Helfenstein brings knowledge of customer base as SAIC seeks to accelerate market growth efforts.
