He will oversee business development and strategic initiatives in his role at Alion, the company said Wednesday.
Don brings more than 30 years of business development, operational leadership, acquisition, program management and national security planning for defense and intelligence agencies to Alion, said Steve Schorer, chairman and CEO of Alion.
“He drove growth across MacBs markets and we look forward to him continuing this effort for Alion,” Schorer added.
Raines previously worked at ManTech Internationals (Nasdaq: MANT) mission, cyber and intelligence solutions business as executive director for business development prior to joining MacB, which was acquired by Alion in August 2018. He is former president of RIIT Solutions and a retired U.S. Air Force lieutenant colonel.
