The Department of Energy has released the final request for proposals for a procurement contract to provide technical support services for a project office responsible for cleanup efforts at gaseous diffusion plant sites in Ohio and Kentucky.
DOE will compete the contract as a small business set-aside program and expects the vendor to provide administration services in support of deactivation and decommissioning, depleted uranium hexafluoride operations and on-site contractor operations at the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Ohio and the Paducah GDP in Kentucky.
The contract also covers technical engineering support functions, information technology infrastructure and cybersecurity, safeguards and security oversight and general administrative support services for all Portsmouth/Paducah Project Office sites.
In December, DOE posted a draft solicitation for the PPPO technical services requirement.
Questions regarding the final RFP are due March 5.
The department will accept proposals through April 9.
