In a notice published Wednesday on SAM.gov, DOD noted that the AAMAC program is “currently on hold.”
Draft RFP for Advancing AI Multiple Award Contract
AAMAC is a potential 10-year, $15 billion indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that seeks to drive the development of AI capabilities and enhance decision-making capabilities across DOD.
In November, DOD sought industry feedback on the draft request for proposals for the multiple-award contract, which aligns with efforts supporting Advana.
What Is Advana?
Advana is the Pentagon’s multidomain data analytics and AI platform managed by the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office, or CDAO.
DOD partnered with Booz Allen to develop and deploy Advana, which draws data from over 400 DOD business systems and delivers information to military and civilian analysts, mission owners and data scientists to drive informed decision-making across finance, contracts, readiness, logistics and other areas.
In September 2024, CDAO announced at an industry day that it wanted small businesses to get a piece of the planned IDIQ contract in support of Advana and enable nontraditional contractors to demonstrate their individual capabilities.
