TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 12, 2017 Raytheon‘s (NYSE: RTN) Standard Missile – 6 has been approved by the Defense Department to be sold to several international customers that seek to use the missiles to support their shipbuilding programs, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The company said Tuesday SM-6 is designed to provide naval ships with extended-range protection against fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles and cruise and ballistic missiles.
