Bugbee started his career working in financial institutions including State Street Bank and Investor’s Bank and Trust. In 2003, he joined Deloitte and Touche, where he served as account manager for clients such as the Department of the Interior and EncompassHealth.
He worked as a consultant for technology consulting firm Infinitive and the Institute of Museum and Library Services, before becoming part of Bugbee Consulting.
In 2018, he was appointed senior director and program manager at Chenega.
Bugbee held a director post at Perspecta before its acquisition by Veritas Capital in 2021 and subsequent integration into Peraton.
While at Peraton, he was in charge of the company’s housing and urban development portfolio.
