The Defense Information Systems Agency has issued a draft request for proposals for a potential 10-year, $8 billion contract to acquire an enterprise cloud service platform designed to facilitate collaboration and communications in support of DISA and Defense Department operations worldwide.
A FedBizOpps notice posted Tuesday says the Defense Enterprise Office Solution is a single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that seeks to integrate and update DoDs voice, content management, email, video and other legacy information technology platforms.
The DEOS contract will have a base term of five years and five one-year options plus a six-month extension period for services.
The DEOS program aims to deploy an integrated cloud service offering on the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network, Nonclassified IP Router Network and Denied, Disconnected, Intermittent and Limited Bandwidth environments, according to the statement of objectives.
The proposed firm-fixed-price contract covers several tasks including NIPRNet; SIPRNet; D-DIL environment; user tenancy stand-up; additional supporting infrastructure and services such as mass warning notification and enterprise classified voice over IP; data and readiness assessments; user and data migration; training; and engineering support.
Questions on the draft RFP are due May 7.
The draft solicitation for the DEOS program comes as DoD seeks feedback on the final draft RFP for the Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure Cloud procurement program.
