TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 12, 2018 The Defense Information Systems Agency has granted IBM (NYSE: IBM) a provisional authorization to host Impact Level 5 data at the Defense Department and other federal customers through its multitenant cloud computing service, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The authorization allows IBM to offer its SmartCloud for Government infrastructure-as-a-service platform, which includes compute, memory, network, operating system and storage provisioning services, to DoD and federal agencies over 12 months, DISA said Tuesday.
