TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 1, 2017 ” DigitalGlobe (NYSE: DGI) has extended its collaboration with NTT Data to integrate their technologies and build a dataset that consists of 3D-vector models of buildings, bridges and vegetation, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
The effort will utilize DigitalGlobe’s satellite imagery and cloud-based Geospatial Big Data machine learning platform as well as NTT Data’s global elevation data to produce the AW3D Metro dataset that will work to support smart city initiatives and other programs, DigitalGlobe said Thursday.
