DHS Updates Contracting Timeline for Data Center & Cloud Services

The Department of Homeland Security has updated its timeline for procuring data center and cloud optimization services through a potential 10-year, $4.1B indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

DHS said Thursday in a SAM notice it now plans to release the final solicitation notice in early December and award the DCCO contract by mid-March.

Interested vendors will be able to provide feedback on the draft request for proposals through Nov. 5.

The department is seeking a contractor to help manage an enterprise data center and implement an updated information technology environment.

The single-award IDIQ has a base ordering period of five years, an initial three-year option and an additional two-year extension.
