DHS Seeks Proposals for $180M Employee Assistance, Work-Life Support IDIQ

The Department of Homeland Security has released a request for proposals for a potential 10-year, $180 million contract to provide Employee Assistance Program and Work-Life support services for DHS employees and their eligible family members, law enforcement and military personnel.
EAP seeks to provide professional support to employees and their families facing health, financial and other personal issues that may affect job performance.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers several task areas, including information system security compliance-authorization decision; assessment, short-term counseling and referral; substance abuse case management; optional onsite EAP services; management consultation; peer support consultation; and transition counseling services, according to the RFP notice published Wednesday.
The single-award IDIQ contract has a base ordering period of five years and one five-year optional term.
Responses to the solicitation are due Oct. 31.
