TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 5, 2018 The Department of Homeland Security has selected five companies to support research and development efforts on nuclear and radiological threat detection under separate contracts worth approximately $22.7M combined, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
DHS said in a FedBizOpps notice posted Wednesday that it has awarded $8.2M to Bubble Technology Industries, $4.7M to Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), $4.4M to Rapiscan Laboratories, $3.98M to Radiation Monitoring Devices and $1.4M to Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) to work with the Domestic Nuclear Detection Office on the project.
