Enlightenment Capital has invested in Arlington, Virginia-based technology and consulting service contractor ByteCubed to support the latter’s growth strategy in the data science, business intelligence and technology automation areas.
ByteCubed will use investment from Enlightenment Capital to pursue organic and inorganic growth opportunities, the investment company said Tuesday.
Devin Talbott, a managing partner at Enlightenment Capital, said he believes ByteCubed’s technical and cloud-native expertise can help address a demand for information technology modernization and transformation strategies in the government sector.
ByteCubed develops tools designed to help customer agencies simplify business processes and analyze data.
The company also conducts research and development in the areas of cloud computing, machine learning, user experience, augmented reality and data science and analytics.
Enlightenment Capital is headquartered in Chevy Chase, Maryland and backs middle market companies in the aerospace, defense and government sector.
