TYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 6, 2017 Deloitte and the Senior Executives Association have released a study that found challenges in attracting and retaining top talent at federal agencies as senior leaders encounter potential cultural and digital barriers to develop the future workforce, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
The State of Federal Career Senior Leadershipsurvey reports that 22 percent of the polled 753 career senior leaders from 26 federal agencies believe their organizations are ready to retain skilled professionals, while at least 75 percent say there are career opportunities for employees of all ages.
Deloitte and SEA suggested evidence-based reviews to help identify individuals with leadership skills and a reassessment of the future workforce to facilitate recruitment decisions, among other actions.
