Deloitte Consulting Books $115M Air Force Cyber Training Contract

Deloitte Consulting has secured a $115 million, firm-fixed-price contract award from the U.S. Air Force for services on the cybersecurity training of personnel in the USAF and other Department of Defense entities. The services of the Arlington, Virginia-based company under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contract will support the curriculum of the DOD Cyber Crime Center Cyber Training Academy, the DOD said Wednesday.

The solicitation for the requirement was issued in April, with 10 offers subsequently received.

The duties of the personnel who undergo training in the academy include safeguarding DOD information systems from illegal or unauthorized access, as well as defending against counter-intelligence activities. The current course offerings at the DC3 Cyber Training Academy cover disciplines across hardware, incident response, digital and drone forensics, network intrusions, dark-web activities, managed attribution and malware analysis, according the contract solicitation’s performance work statement.

Deloitte Consulting’s contract work performance will be at the National Capital Region, with completion expected by Aug. 5, 2030.

The cyber training contract follows a $135.5 million USAF award in April for Deloitte Consulting to provide technical support services to the Air Force. The services include predictive analytics to logisticians and security forces, as well as consolidating duplicative Air Force A4 IT systems.
