Cameron Chehreh
TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 2, 2017 Cameron Chehreh, chief technology officer of Dell EMCs federal business, has said agencies can utilize cloud computing technology to manage the volumes of data generated from the Internet of Things, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.
“Cloud provides federal agencies with the improved flexibility, scalability and storage capacity they need to successfully manage the mountains of data being collected each day,” Chehreh told MeriTalk in an interview published Thursday.
He noted that federal chief information officers should first establish a framework such as DevOps, emphasize security and educate the workforce when planning the adoption of new technologies such as IoT.
