Dave West, formerly an executive at ECS, has been appointed senior vice president of corporate development and strategy at McLean, Virginia-based consulting and information technology services provider Avantus Federal.
He will be responsible for driving mergers and acquisitions, partnerships and strategic efforts in his new position at Avantus, the company said Monday.
West played a key role in four M&A transactions during his tenure as ECS VP of corporate development and supported strategic planning, investment and pandemic response efforts of ASGN, ECS’ parent organization.
Previously, he was a senior executive at management consultancy Wolf Den Associates and provided M&A advice to clients in the government services industry.
The Department of Homeland Security also employed West as a foreign policy adviser earlier in his career.
