Dave Hansen Named Auria CTO

Space operations provider Auria has appointed technology leader Dave Hansen as chief technology officer.

In a LinkedIn post published Monday, Enlightenment Capital-backed Auria said Hansen and his team will drive growth by pooling resources and pursuing the development of new technologies and capabilities for customers.

According to the company, the newly appointed CTO has over two decades of experience in full solution development and has played a key role in advancing mission-critical space initiatives. He promotes a collaborative engineering culture to help advance space innovation.

Dave Hansen’s Career Highlights

According to his LinkedIn profile, Hansen was a program director at Ascension Engineering Group before moving to Auria.

The tech executive served as a chief engineer at Northrop Grumman, where helped ensure secure and scalable communications between satellites and ground stations.

He worked within the Department of Defense as a federal employee, helping manage satellite constellation operations and driving policy efforts to support next-generation satellite communications capabilities.

The Colorado Technical University graduate has a Doctor of Business Administration degree from Capella University.
