Darron Makrokanis, formerly chief revenue officer at Xage Security, has assumed the same position at Summit 7, a provider of managed security services to defense contractors, according to his LinkedIn post.
He will manage the company’s overall go-to-market functions, including marketing, sales, business development, partnerships and product management.
Makrokanis will remain at Xage Security as a part-time executive adviser. He joined the identity and access management company in 2022 after serving as president and general manager at D2iQ, now part of Nutanix.
Before joining D2iQ, he was VP of sales and field operations at Druva, a provider of cloud-based data protection and management products, and VP and general manager of sales at Tenable, a Maryland-based vulnerability scanner software developer.
He previously held program management and business development roles at Splunk, Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) and CRA.
