Darren Kraabel, formerly senior vice president and general manager of mission solutions for aerospace, technology, environment and nuclear business at Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC), has elevated to the role of chief technology and innovation officer.
His appointment is part of the company™s expansion efforts in the professional services market, Jacobs said Tuesday.
Kraabel will leverage the company™s connected enterprise systems strategy, knowledge of client applications and experience in analytics, cybersecurity and networking platforms delivery to help advance Jacobs™ value creation initiatives and transition into a data-driven provider.
He has led the delivery of information technology, intelligence analysis and cybersecurity platforms and services to clients and managed business development efforts to broaden the company™s tech portfolio since joining Jacobs.
Kraabel served in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years prior to his move to the Dallas-based technical professional services firm.
