Radiance Technologies has promoted Darien Hammett to the role of executive vice president of defense, responsible for ensuring that the sector continues to align with the company’s growth strategy and deliver value to military customers.
The Huntsville, Alabama-based contractor said Thursday Hammett previously led Radiance’s space group and he joined the company in September 2019 as assistant vice president supporting the CEO and chief strategy officer.
He brings to Radiance over two decades of U.S. Air Force experience. He retired from service as a colonel.
“Darien’s dedication and extensive background in both the military and at Radiance make him exceptionally well-suited to lead our Defense Sector,” commented Radiance CEO Bill Bailey.
