“In this role, I will lead all [information technology] integration work for the recently acquired Ball Aerospace, now the space and mission systems sector at BAE Systems Inc.,” shared Smith.
The senior IT executive will also be responsible for all of the sector’s IT service delivery to meet digital, infrastructure, and application requirements for business efficiency, growth and innovation.
Prior to joining BAE, Smith was with Honeywell International (Nasdaq: HON) for more than a decade. Her previous roles at the multinational conglomerate corporation include senior IT director and senior IT project manager.
Smith also served as a program manager at Deloitte for six years.
