Daniel Payne Named ManTech SVP, Chief Security Officer; Kevin Phillips Quoted

Daniel Payne, a more than three-decade federal government official, has joined ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT) as senior vice president and chief security officer.

He will directly report to Kevin Phillips, president and CEO of ManTech and a 2019 Wash100 awardee, as he oversees security and works to ensure the company™s compliance with operational, information and industrial security regulations, ManTech said Monday.

Payne previously served as director of the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency at the Pentagon. He worked for two years at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence as deputy chief of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center and held leadership roles at the CIA in counterterrorism and counterintelligence areas.
