The executive was promoted after serving as portfolio manager and leader of the satellite communications, or SATCOM, operations division for over two years. Before that, Zweifel was a senior systems engineer at Ascension Engineering Group, a space systems provider acquired by Boecore in 2022. Zweifel was also a system engineer and SATCOM subject matter expert at Northrop Grumman.
The new Auria VP spent nearly five years at the Department of Defense as an operations analyst and a telecommunications analyst. Zweifel was also with SAT for over a year as a SATCOM Network Analyst. He also served nine years in the U.S. Army as a SATCOM controller.
