The company said Monday Smoot is the latest addition to Maxar Intelligence’s new leadership team, which includes CFO Mike Mohn, Chief Product Officer Scott Herman and Chief Human Resources Officer Anat Gan Eden.
Prior to joining Maxar, Smoot was CEO of information technology firm Riverbed Technology. His expertise comes from over 30 years of experience in the IT and software industry. He served in senior executive roles at Salesforce (NYSE: CRM), Cisco Systems (Nasdaq: CSCO) and VMware (NYSE: VMW).
Bob Hitt, chair of Maxar Intelligence’s board of directors, underscored Smoot’s technology delivery approach in support of national security and other government missions and added, “Hhis relentless focus on execution and operational excellence makes him well-suited to lead Maxar Intelligence in the next phase of its growth.”
Jablonsky, a Wash100 awardee, has been president, interim CEO and member of the board of directors since 2019. He will remain in the company as a member of the board.
