The satellite telecommunications provider said Tuesday Budlovsky will be responsible for driving strategic financial initiatives to help position Kepler for business growth, innovation and financial success.
In a statement, Budlovsky noted that “Kepler is at a pivotal moment in the journey” and highlighted the company’s growth and innovation commitment.
“There is immense potential in Kepler’s innovative approach as we build critical infrastructure for the emerging space economy,” the new CFO added.
Kepler has secured over $200 million in equity and added more than 170 employees globally since 2015. After demonstrating its optical inter-satellite link capability in low Erath orbit in June 2024, the company is now focused on advancing the deployment of the first Tranche of its next-generation constellation. Initial optical services are expected to be offered in 2025.
“I am eager to work closely with the team to unlock new opportunities and deliver sustained growth,” said Budlovsky.
He previously held executive roles at Wattpad and Rakuten Kobo.
