Cynthia Marsden, former president of GTI Federal, has been appointed by CSR‘s board of directors as president and CEO of the Arlington, Virginia-based professional and technical consulting services contractor.
I am honored to have been selected to lead CSR and look forward to working with the staff, clients and CSR board of directors to provide government, private and nonprofit organizations with the knowledge and tools to make informed policy choices, ” Marsden said in a statement.
She has been a board member at CSR since September 2015 and has previously worked in leadership positions at Sapient‘s government services segment, Chenega and Carl Marks & Co.
Earlier in her career, Marsden spent 11 years at Electronic Data Systems, now known as HP (NYSE: HPQ).
She also currently serves as a member of the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society, Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, Association of Corporate Growth, Women in Technology, Rochester Chamber of Commerce, Detroit Economic Club.
CSR is an employee-owned company that provides program analysis and research, public information, communications, management, logistics and technical support services in the government, nonprofit and commercial markets.
