TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 10, 2018 A Cubic (NYSE: CUB) business unit has set up an exhibit at this year’s Navy League-hosted Sea-Air-Space Exposition in Maryland, featuring its Immersive Virtual Ship Environment and Joint Strike Fighter P5 Internal Subsystem platforms, GovCon Executive reported Thursday.
The company said WednesdayCubic Global Defense is set to demonstrate its virtual and immersive training technology as well as fifth-generation air combat training systems at the global maritime exposition, which kicked off Monday and runs through April 11.
“[Our] game-based training courseware helps the U.S. Navy achieve individual and watch team readiness within the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) program of record and has applicability to other Navy and Marine Corps training needs through delivery of high-velocity learning,” noted Dave Buss, president of Cubic Global Defense.
