Craig Janus, a 30-year information technology and telecommunications industry veteran, has been named senior vice president of the national security group at McLean, Va.-based government services contractor Preferred Systems Solutions.
He will report directly to Randy Morgan, president and CEO of PSS and a previous Wash100 inductee, and oversee the delivery of support services to intelligence community customers, help advance growth initiatives and pursue M&A opportunities, the company said.
“Craig has an exceptional background that includes operations and business development in a growth company model where he has consistently demonstrated a strategic approach to building a sustainable and differentiated business through organic growth,” Morgan said.
“His hands-on and engaged style, strong technical background, and people-centric leadership philosophy are a great fit with PSS, as we develop our technical capabilities and staff and grow our National Security business.”
