Craig Brower, former vice president and general manager of the public sector business at Orbital Insight, has been appointed president of U.S. government operations at Gaithersburg Maryland-based visual intelligence technology provider Edgybees.
The three-decade intelligence and defense industry veteran will oversee Edgybees’ strategic business development, sales, marketing, engineering and operations functions in his position, the company said Tuesday.
Brower previously worked as VP of geospatial intelligence software vendor Vricon and senior director of business development at BAE Systems.
He started his career at the CIA in 1989 as a photographic specialist for the agency’s National Photographic Interpretation Center.
His appointment follows Edgybees’ recent advisory board expansion as the company looks to grow its presence in the government market.
