Centerra, a Constellis business, has secured a potential 10-year, $700 million contract from the U.S. Navy for the procurement of essential base operations and life support services to military installations and federal agencies located around the world.
Providing Essential Services to Global Joint Forces
Constellis said Thursday the Worldwide Expeditionary Multiple Award Contract, or WEXMAC, 2.0 aims to support joint forces and possibly federal agencies worldwide that require essential services.
Under the transformative contract, Centerra will provide a wide range of services including transportation, lodging, medical support, force protection, logistics and construction equipment and material handling. WEXMAC task orders will ensure the delivery of clothing, petroleum, construction materials, medical supplies and other vital resources to joint forces in strategic regions worldwide. This includes Western and Eastern Europe, the Philippines, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand and Antarctica.
Constellis CEO Terry Ryan, a former Wash100 Award winner, stated, “We are proud to support the WEXMAC 2.0 program, which highlights Constellis’ ability to deliver integrated, expeditionary solutions that support the warfighter around the world. This contract provides us another vehicle through which to serve the global national security mission.”
Earlier this year, CBRE’s J&J Worldwide Services was awarded a potential 10-year, $1.8 billion follow-on contract by the Navy to provide logistics support services, particularly setting up and sustaining theaters for expeditionary forces in 17 geographic territories under WEXMAC 2.0.
