Under the single-award contract, the Germantown, Maryland-based company will support the maintenance of previously purchased commercial, off-the-shelf software and hardware within the DeCA infrastructure, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
Global Contract Scope
The award provides a one-year base period and four one-year options up to November 2029. NCR Government Systems will perform work at its facility and at the agency’s 240 commissaries worldwide.
The contract period started Tuesday, with a $2,500 guaranteed minimum amount for a task order funded through fiscal 2024 defense working capital funds.
Competitive Contract Solicitation
DISA’s information technology contracting division, which initiated the contract solicitation in October 2023 through Sam .gov, received five competing proposals for DeCA’s requirements.
DeCA’s mission is to extend essential support to U.S. service members as an indirect benefit of their military payroll, with the goal achieved through commissary sales of groceries at a lower cost.
