NSC elected Paul to succeed Salvador D’Itri in the leadership position for a two-year term, the consortium said Monday.
“I will work to foster collaboration among government, industry leaders and academia as we take on the toughest, critically important, technology challenges facing our nation,” Paul said of her new role.
Her more than 25-year professional experience also includes time at Rockwell Collins, Hughes Network Systems, Ericsson and Motorola (NYSE: MSI).
She has patented 15 technologies in the radio frequency communications and networking domain.
NSC is made up of more than 400 private and academic organizations aiming to drive the adoption of new technology such as 5G for defense and commercial use.
