Cobham Mission Systems to Supply Oxygen Equipment for Navy Tactical Aircraft

Cobham Mission Systems has been awarded a contract from the U.S. Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) to equip new F/A-18 combat jets with GGU-12 oxygen concentrators and CRU-99 oxygen monitors, the company announced Tuesday.

“Cobham appreciates this continued show of confidence in the performance of our oxygen life support equipment,” said Jason Apelquist, senior vice president of business development and strategy, Cobham Mission Systems. “For over four decades, we have been a recognized leader in providing safe, quality and highly reliable oxygen concentrators for the Navy.”

The GGU-12 and CRU-99 systems are part of the company’s aviation life support components. With the contract, the company will continue to advance in life support products, as well as collaborate with partners and manufacturers to support its customers.
