TYSONS CORNER, VA, February 13, 2019 ” Shaun Bierweiler, vice president and general manager of Cloudera‘s (NYSE: CLDR) U.S. public sector business, has said the company resulting from the recently completed merger between Cloudera and Hortonworks will work to develop a “cloud-native, open source unified platform” designed to extract actionable insights from data, ExecutiveBiz reported Feb. 6.
Bierweiler, formerly VP of U.S. public sector at Hortonworks, wrote in a LinkedIn article published Feb. 4 that the combination also served to integrate the legacy companies’ partner ecosystem and bolster the business’ capability to deliver data-driven services to the public sector.
