TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 11, 2018 Shaun Bierweiler, vice president and general manager of U.S. public sector at Cloudera (NYSE: CLDR), anticipates that 2019 will see the federal government adopt a policy that is aimed at managing data at the edge as it seeks to explore artificial intelligence and machine learning, ExecutiveBiz reported Jan. 4.
Bierweiler, who served as U.S. public sector VP at Hortonworks before its merger with Cloudera, said in a Nextgov report published Jan. 2 that 2019 will be the “tipping point” as agencies seek to get capabilities in real time in support of information technology operations.
