ClearShark, a federal information technology platforms provider, has agreed to buy FedBiz IT Solutions in a transaction that will expand its portfolio of government contracts, resources and expertise in contracts management and capture and compliance.
ClearShark President Brian Strosser said in a statement released Tuesday that FedBiz IT’s contracts portfolio and capabilities are complementary to ClearShark’s efforts to develop platforms that help federal agencies safeguard against cybersecurity threats and advance modernization initiatives.
Leesburg, Virginia-based FedBiz IT is a HUBZone, veteran-owned, women-owned small business that provides IT professional services, enterprise storage systems, telecommunications, cloud and virtual systems and physical and IT security support to federal government customers.
FedBiz IT’s contracts portfolio includes NASA’s Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V, U.S. Army’s IT Enterprise Solutions-Software 2, Army Desktop and Mobile Computing-3 and SEC Blanket Order Agreement.
Hanover, Maryland-based ClearShark will operate FedBiz IT as a wholly owned subsidiary upon the deal’s completion.
ClearShark provides cybersecurity, artficial intelligence and data analytics, DevSeCops, datacenter and cloud infrastructure and other IT services to federal agency clients.
