Clark Construction Group to Build Army Fort Meade Office Building for $616M

Clark Construction Group has won a $616.3 million contract to construct a multi-story office building for the U.S. Army at Fort Meade, Maryland.

The company is tasked to complete the construction work by Aug. 11, 2020, and could perform additional tasks through options under the contract, the Defense Department said Friday.

The firm-fixed-price contract is incrementally funded and the Army allocated $24 million from its fiscal 2016 military construction funds at the time of the award.

Fort Meade provides support to DoD civilian employees, family members, active-duty service members and military retirees.
