TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 14, 2016 Peter Romness, U.S. public sector cybersecurity solutions lead at Cisco (Nasdaq: CSCO), has called for more comprehensive authentication measures to support common access cards in order to counter advanced cyber threats, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
C4ISR & Networks reported Monday that Romness suggested the capability to detect anomalies in user behavior then report those readily using network devices as additional measures to ensure security.
“We need to know who the user is, where they are connecting from, when the connection is being made and how the user is trying to connect wired, wireless, internet or VPN, ” Romness said.
