CIS Secure Computing, a portfolio company of private equity firm HKW, has acquired Intrepid Solutions and Services in a move to expand technology products and service offerings for the U.S. intelligence community and defense market.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed and Intrepid said Wednesday it brings experience in providing support to defense and intelligence customers in areas including information technology modernization, cybersecurity, data analytics and intelligence training.
Bill Strang, CEO of CIS Secure, said the addition of Intrepid will enable the company to create, integrate and deliver technology offerings that could support national security missions.
“The companies have highly complementary capabilities in defense and intelligence technologies and services. We look forward to working with our new team members at CIS Secure to provide end-to-end solutions to our combined customer set,” said Ryan Hebert, CEO of Intrepid.
Ashburn, Virginia-headquartered CIS Secure offers secure communications and collaboration technology and services to customers in the defense, intelligence and homeland security sectors.
