The 35-year federal market veteran will aim to grow Octo’s service offerings that are intended to help agencies manage and analyze data, the company said Tuesday.
“It’s all about improving outcomes. That is my focus and Octo’s focus – delivering innovations and proven approaches to managing and using data and information to enhance the mission,” said Walker.
She added the company works to help defense, financial health care agencies adopt information technology to support missions.
In her previous capacity, Walker led Salient CRGT’s efforts to develop data-focused platforms, processes and consulting services intended for the military, transportation and health care sectors.
She also worked at Kforce Government Solutions as chief data officer and chief innovation officer and held a 15-year career at Acton Burnell.
