Lockheed said Tuesday that Karol, a nearly four-decade Lockheed veteran, will retire once the transition period is completed.
In his next role, Wronsky will oversee the company’s global HR strategy and security organization and talent cultivation initiatives for its 116,000-strong workforce.
He has been with Lockheed for 35 years and is currently responsible for HR functions within the RMS segment composed of 35,000 employees worldwide.
The company previously assigned him to London as VP of international HR before his appointment at the RMS unit.
Earlier in his career, he served as senior manager of IBM’s (NYSE: IBM) U.S. Workforce Program.
