Christopher Geiger, a 21-year veteran of Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), has been promoted to a vice president position at the Bethesda, Maryland-based defense and aerospace contractor.
He will be responsible for leading the internal audit and enterprise risk management functions in his VP role, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Geiger will also participate in the activities of corporate ethics and business transformation steering committees as well as its risk and audit strategy board.
Prior to the promotion, he directed Lockheed’s global internal audit function. He first joined the company in 2001 as an engineering leader and later managed enterprise test and sustainment solutions and risk management and sustainability initiatives.
