Chris Bishop Named Chief Growth Officer at Ultra Intelligence & Communications

Chris Bishop, former chief growth officer of HII‘s (NYSE: HII) technical solutions division, has been appointed to the same position at Ultra Intelligence & Communications.

Bishop announced his new post Monday in a LinkedIn post and will be part of a U.S.-based entity established in 2022 from the legacy Ultra Electronics business.

The University of Virginia graduate joined HII in August 2021 through the military shipbuilder’s $1.65 billion acquisition of Alion Science and Technology.

He previously served as CGO at Alion, Pyramid Systems and ManTech’s mission solutions and services group. His industry career also included leadership roles at URS, NCI Information Systems and SRA International.

Ultra I&C offers communications, command and control, cybersecurity and electronic warfare intelligence products to the defense sector.
