Tim Murphy, a three-decade federal contracting veteran, has been named vice president of contracts at CGI’s (NYSE: GIB) federal subsidiary.
His new role involves overseeing CGI Federal‘s integrated contract and subcontract teams, as well as an internal group that specializes in corporate contract vehicles and agreements, the IT and business consulting services provider said Tuesday.
Murphy is a specialist in end-to-end contract and subcontract management and compliance, having spent more than 30 years in the government market.
“Tim has an exceptional ability to balance business risk and opportunity, which is an essential ingredient to profitable growth,” said Michelle Hertz, general counsel of CGI Federal.
